The Elevae Approach
Care built around five questions, not one.
Most mental health care starts and ends with diagnosis and medication. That works for some people. It doesn't work for the people we see — who come in having already tried two SSRIs, a CBT protocol, and a meditation app, and still feel stuck.
1. Biology
Labs, hormones, thyroid, B12, vitamin D, iron, inflammation markers, and — when useful — pharmacogenomic testing to see how your body metabolizes psychiatric medications. We look at what's actually happening in the body before assuming a symptom is "in your head."
2. Mind
A thorough psychiatric evaluation. We look at diagnosis, history, trauma, cognitive patterns, and the stories you've been told (or tell yourself) about your mental health. Getting the diagnosis right matters. So does naming what isn't a diagnosis.
3. Lifestyle
Sleep is the most under-treated psychiatric intervention we know. So is strength training. So is protein at breakfast. We address sleep, nutrition, alcohol, movement, and screen exposure as seriously as we address medication.
4. Relationships and environment
You can't out-medicate a toxic workplace, an untenable relationship, or a nervous system that never gets to rest. We talk honestly about the structures around you — and the parts you can change.
5. Meaning
At some point, symptoms are also a signal that life is out of alignment with values. Coaching and depth therapy are how we work at this layer.
